Above all, I love this old house of mine, where I spent the years of my childhood, where my dear father lived, and my grandfather, and those who came before me. And so, rather than be torn away from it forever, I shut myself within its walls and adorned it with white, red, and green flowers, so that it might cry out to me what I could no longer say to others.
